CWC-50 Acoustic Ceiling and Wall Clip
The CWC-50 Acoustic Ceiling and Wall Clip is a new product in the Mason range of ceiling and wall isolation products. It is designed to accept typical furring (Top Hat) channels to construct isolated wall and ceiling systems.
CWC-50 Acoustic Ceiling and Wall Clip
A cost-effective solution for vibration isolation and acoustic treatment of walls and ceilings, our CWC-50 Clip is designed with ease of installation in mind. Only one fixing is required to mount the clip to the support framing/studs/wall. The “Top Hat” furring channel is then slotted into the profiled clip which holds it in place without the need for additional fixings.
The clip is able to accept loads of up to 22.7kg (50lbs). It includes two interlocked grommets manufactured from 40 durometer low dynamic stiffness bridge bearing natural rubber to isolate the fixing and stand the furring channel off the wall or ceiling. The assembly comes with a bonded steel washer applied to one of the resilient elements. Both clip and washer are zinc plated for added corrosion resistance. The product has undergone and completed acoustical and fire testing to meet UL standards.
