DNSB-BM Wall Tie/Sway Brace
This DNSB-BM is our most popular acoustic sway brace. It is a low frequency wall tie. You have a choice of a bolt end for stud walls or hooked end for masonry walls.
The DNSB-BM sway brace is available in two different sizes. The standard brace requires a minimum cavity width of 76mm and is suitable for cavities up to 140mm wide. For larger wall cavities, the central hook end bolt is replaced with a longer hooked bolt to meet the required cavity width. Our acoustic wall ties are supplied pre-compressed to ensure consistent acoustic isolation while tolerating a range of wall loads.
