WIC-2-90 Sway Brace/Wall Tie
The Type WIC-2-90 acoustic sway brace/wall tie is a 90-degree variant of our popular WIC product. It is designed to tie internal and external walls together. One side is designed to be imbedded into blockwork mortar joints, the other to be fixed into the opposing wall with suitable fixings.
WIC-2-90 Acoustic Wall Tie
Each WIC-2-90 is manufactured bespoke for every project and can be varied in length to suit cavity depth and wall constructions. A minimum cavity depth of 40mm is required to fit the wall tie in its thinnest form. See the following for an example installation detail.
