Spring hangers can be combined with elastomeric rubber elements to provide acoustic isolation across a wide frequency range. Spring hangers are typically used in locations subjected to impact and other very low frequency noise – typically sub 8Hz.
Steel coil spring hangers can offer lower natural frequencies than designs with rubber elements alone. We also can supply hangers with both rubber and spring, to provide acoustic isolation against high and low frequencies of noise and vibration.
Mason UK supply springs with a low ratio between height and coil diameter. This ensures that the spring remains stable, regardless of the amount of deflection.
