Arup's specified a jack up spring floor in the Metrology Lab at the Coventry University site. Mason UK designed and installed this floating floor for VINCI Construcion utilising the Mason Industries FS spring jacks selected to achieve a 3 to 4Hz isolator natural frequency. |

For many years we have used neoprene as the elastomer in most Mason products. The main advantage of Neoprene was longevity and consistancy when compared to rubber. Rubber however is a better isolator exhibiting a lower natural frequency for the same deflection. |
